The crime dramas i have seen are:
Sherlock- In the episode of “Study in Pink” it indicates crime drama very clearly through the professions of Sherlock and Dr Watson. Sherlock has a genius mind and can figure out and do an investigation straight away, although sometimes he is on the wrong side of the law. When he finds a suitcase he should of handed it in to the police straight away but he does not do that instead he tries to investigate himself and his personality makes him seem strong and able to complete any task set. His sidekick Dr Watson also plays an important role with helping Sherlock and he is stuck into the past and misses war a lot, which as soon as he meets Sherlock, Sherlock figures that out which is also a very good indicator of Crime Drama as it shows he Is a good inspector. However Miss Hudson is not a typical indicator of Crime drama but by having all the detectives and investigators it makes it look like a crime drama.
CSI - At the beginning everything is normal and it starts with a party then straight away something kicks in and in this case it’s Blaire getting tied up in the football pitch and getting stoned to death. They are all on the right side of the law. Blaire makes a good character of crime drama because she looks like a typical mean nasty girl who would do things to make her look like she’s on the good side and everyone else is on the bad side. CSI also are a very good team of crime drama indicators as everything they do including the evidence, press, and their investigations make it look like a typical crime drama.
